Biography

Being one of Bolivia’s most influential DJs, Mau Bacarreza has been filling up the dance floors of his native town Santa Cruz since 2006. Although his passion transcends through different genres and styles, he specializes in underground house and Techno music.

After winning the national finals and representing Bolivia in the Red Bull Three Style 2012 as A.K.A. (Bmau), he has been behind the decks at the leading clubs and festivals.
In 2018 he moved to Cologne, Germany.

He has played as well at several events in South America and Europe and has opened shows for internationally recognized artists including: Roger Sanchez, Festa Bros, Nedu Lopes, Thomas Penton, Jean Bacarreza, Do Santos, Facu Carri, Who Else, Yves La Rock, Sebastian Gamboa,Till Noon and more.

He has produced remixes and tracks for international labels like: Wyldcard, Great Stuff, Outsiders Recordings, Bunny Tiger, G-Mafia, Delicious Recordings, Ushuaia Music,
House Machine, Speaker Recordings, Daylight Robbery Records, AK Cartel, Am Strand, Nativo,Underground Progressions, San Pedro Music, Black Senses, Subliminal Senses and More.
Collaborated with artists like: Jean Bacarreza, Vanilla Ace, Papa Marlin, The Muhammads, Waxman CA, Zairi Torres, Danilo Dumonte and more.

Founder of “Outsiders Recordings”, one of Bolivia’s pioneer music movements/ Label.
Outsiders Recordings it’s now also present also in Germany.

DJ coach at the UPSA University, one of Bolivia’s most prestigious educational institutions.
